An experienced professional in private practice since 1973 he has for the past 12 years been actively examining and implementing modified traditional building fabric coupled with renewable energies to find a suitable sustainable solutions that can deliver affordable and tangible results.
Being a strong advocate of using thermal mass as an energy medium,utilising heavyweight construction,traditional skills and locally sourced materials to attain carbon zero buildings Barry sees future-proofing tradition as a simple pathway to achieving affordable sustainable low & zero carbon homes.
